Bellbird Park is a suburb located in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, about 14 kilometres east-southeast of Ipswich CBD and roughly 29 kilometres southwest of Brisbane CBD. Covering an area of around 6.5 square kilometres, it has grown rapidly in recent decades, with a population of 9,191 recorded in the 2021 Census and a relatively young median age of 31. 

Originally part of the Goodna hinterland, the suburb was largely rural until the mid-1970s when development began, named after the bellbirds once common along Woogaroo Creek. Housing today is a mix of established family homes and newer estates, with both owner-occupied and rental properties making up the community. Families are well-catered for with educational facilities such as Kruger State School, Bellbird Park State Secondary College (opened in 2017), and the newly planned Bellbird Park State School for primary-aged children. 

The area also offers easy access to major roads and public transport, making commuting to Brisbane and Ipswich convenient, while shopping and everyday services are available at centres like Redbank Plaza and Kruger Village. Bellbird Park also features a number of parks and green spaces, though ongoing development has raised environmental concerns, with local community groups working to preserve remaining bushland. The suburb continues to expand, attracting young families and new residents with its affordability, schools, and growing infrastructure.
